I am a communications officer, arts project coordinator, blogger and writer specialising in Outsider Art, or art created by those facing barriers to the mainstream art world. I have previously been the Communications Officer for Outside In at Pallant House Gallery, and Creative Future; both organisations supporting those facing barriers to the art world for reasons including health, disability, social circumstance or isolation.
I am currently Arts Project Coordinator at the Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and the Communications Officer at the National Criminal Justice Arts Alliance.

Additionally, for 2 years I was the Editor of Pallant Press; a community arts newspaper focusing on the Learning and Community Programme at Pallant House Gallery. I have also written case studies and resources in my role at the National Criminal Justice Arts Alliance.
I founded kdoutsiderart.com in 2012; a blog specialising in the thoughts and theories behind Outsider Art, and showcasing the inspirational work of some very talented artists.
